About Us

The idea for Best Apps 4 Kids started when my (at the time) 2 year old asked to play with my iPhone. I selected a doodling game (iDoodle) and let her play with it. At first I was a little cautious, not sure if she would throw it (she has), drop it (several times), or call China (not China, but a friend or two). I also didn’t really have any applications she could play except a doodling program. After watching her fiddle around with it a couple of times – me watching her like a hawk – I noticed how easily she could manipulate the screens and applications (kudos to Apple). So I started looking for applications she could use.
